Mortal Kombat Legends: Revenge of the Death!
Following the announcement of the leading trailer for the animated film Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge, Warner Bros. has released an even further in-depth red band trailer explaining the ruthlessness to come as Hanzo Hasashi seeks to avenge his family’s death at the hands of Sub-Zero.
An insight into the trailer.
The action-packed clip, which debuted at Final Kombat 2020, directed by Warner Bros, was with a large center on the assassination of Hanzo’s family and the agreement he makes with Quan Chi in the Netherrealm to become his fighter in the Mortal Kombat match on Shang Tsung’s island. We also garner a bit more insight into the alliance Raiden makes with Liu Kang, Sonya Blade, and Johnny Cage to stop Shao Kahn’s evil forces from accumulating a tenth win and the ability to invade Earth.
Sticking with the origins of the elements
There are a few gory and bone-crushing fight sequences, with x-ray moves similar to the Mortal Kombat , Mortal Kombat X, and Mortal Kombat 11 games out at present. The film’s storyline sticks close to the source material, drawing critical elements from the 1995 live-action film as well. We see Quan Chi turning Hanzo into the wraith known as Scorpion, his hellish feud against Sub-Zero’s Lin Kuei clan, not to mention Team Raiden trying to protect the other realm’s from Shang Tsung, Goro and Emperor Kahn himself.
The Rules followed by them
Directed by Ethan Spaulding from a script by Jeremy Adams, Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge stars Joel McHale, Jennifer Carpenter, Jordan Rodrigues, and Hanzo Hasashi as Johnny Cage, Sonya Blade, Scorpion, Sub-Zero respectively. Steve Blum as Shang Tsung, Grey Griffin as Kitana & Satoshi Hasashi, and Fred Tatasciore as Demon Torturer. The film is to hit Digital on April 12, while Blu-ray and DVD on April 28.
