‘Most People Look Down at Romance’: While Elon Musk is Conquering Mars, His Sister Tosca Musk is All About Passionflix – Erotic Streaming Platform for Women
Elon Musk has a brilliant mind. The tech billionaire is one of the wealthiest celebrities in the world (if the word billionaire didn’t give it away), and has been an influential figure in both the technology & space exploration department. There is absolutely no doubt that he’ll be remembered for a long time. However, he’s not the only bright mind in his family who wishes to make his mark on the world. Elon’s sister Tosca Musk is also another ambitious sibling who wishes to make her mark in the world, and is currently working in the filmmaking sector.
The 48-year-old has produced and directed a fair amount of feature films, and recently The filmmaker has been devoting her time to maintaining Passionflix, an OTT streaming service dedicated to the romance genre in entertainment.

Tosca Musk Speaks About Her Romantic Streaming Platform
The idea of a platform like Passionflix, which is centred around a romantic streaming service for women, originally came to American screenwriter Joany Kane back in 2015. 2 years later, Kane would team up with Tosca Musk and film producer Jina Panebianco to make this idea come to life, the launch of Passionflix came soon after in May 2017.
A recently updated profile on the producer of Tiki Bar TV gave us a few words from her about the romance novel streaming service, and her perception of romance as the main theme in an art form-
“Most of the time people look down at romance – there is apparently something radical in having female desire as a main theme – and they don’t think that romance is intellectual enough.”
“I think that is wrong. Romance is about validating emotions. It’s about removing shame from sexuality. It’s about uplifting stories.”
“Nothing we do is about being a victim or women in jeopardy or the domestication of women.”
The streaming platform offers its audience with original film adaptations based on romance novels, along with the added benefit of having classic romance novels ready to stream on demand.
Tosca’s Perfect Reply To That One Elon Musk Question
People have had doubts over whether Elon Musk played a huge part in Tosca’s venture into the streaming service industry with the launch of Passionflix. The company has raised about $22 million from investors to date, which also includes the Passionflix CEO’s brother, Kimbal Musk.
However, when asked about whether Elon had played a part, or at least invested his money to fund the venture, Tosca refused to confirm the SpaceX founder’s involvement.
The 48-year-old said-
“If I answer that question, everyone says Elon paid for it if I say he did, and if I say he didn’t invest in it, then you’d say that he doesn’t support me and doesn’t think it’s a good idea. So I can’t answer the question — double-edged sword — so I won’t.”
Passionflix costs $5.99 a month and is available in over 150 countries, it also has its own dedicated website and is available as an app in iOS & the Google Play Store.
