The ballet dancer had an affair with 25-year-old Camille Étienne for a brief time. Though his affair ended, it surely had a severe impact on his married life.
Recently, it was reported that Millepied is trying very hard to win his wife’s trust back, as he loves her and doesn’t want his family to get shattered. But the recently captured pictures of the couple show that there is a long way for Millepied to win Portman’s heart again, as she doesn’t look very happy around him. In the photos obtained by Page Six, the duo was seen indulging in an intense conversation.
According to the news outlet, in one picture, it seemed like the No Strings Attached actress was wiping her tears under her sunglasses. The twosome tied the knot in 2012, but due to the involvement of a third party in their relationship, both went through a bitter phase. Although, according to a source, they sorted out their issues, an insider claimed,
“Ben is doing everything he can to get Natalie to forgive him. He loves her and their family.”
Portman is notoriously private about her personal life, keeping it away from the spotlight.

The source further added that Portman is ready to give her broken marriage a second chance if Millepied is capable of winning her trust again, as she doesn’t want their kids to be raised in a broken family. Another source shared,
“Right now, they are talking and working on it together for the sake of their children.”
Portman and Millepied crossed paths for the first time in 2009 on the set of Black Swan. Millepied, a renowned ballet dancer, choreographed Portman for the film. The couple share two children: son Aleph, 12, and daughter Amalia, 6.
