New Footage Of 4 DC Movies Revealed In DCEU 2022 Trailer
A new DC trailer has finally been released before Super Bowl LVI, revealing some more footage from The Batman, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, The Flash, and Black Adam. Warner Bros. didn’t really have a great superhero year this previous year, only having James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad which was also released on HBO Max simultaneously. However, in 2022, it’s quickly ramping up its production with five anticipated movies in the bucket.
DC will be opening this year with the release of The Batman, which will be hitting the theaters next month. Helmed by Matt Reeves, it will be introducing Robert Pattinson as the Dark Knight after Ben Affleck had earlier left the franchise. The release of The Batman will be followed by DC’s League of Super-Pets, which will release on May 20. After this, three more DCEU films will be released as Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam will finally see the debut of Justice Society of America, and Ezra Miller’s The Flash will bring back both Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton’s versions of Batman. Finally, Jason Momoa’s Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom will end the year as DC fans will eventually have enough things to be excited about, and now for fans who cannot wait for these projects, a new trailer has been released giving away fresh footage from these films.
As promised earlier by Dwayne Johnson, a new DC clip has been released to hype up the fans with regard to everything that DC has in store for its followers.

Apart from The Batman, all these live-action movies will be existing in the DCEU. After Ben Affleck left DCEU, Reeves decided to reboot Batman, introducing a much younger version of the superhero. Even disregarding that, there’s still a hefty chance that Pattinson’s Batman goes on to interact with the characters from the main DCEU universe, thanks to its multiverse.
The Flash will be delving deep into the multiverse, as Keaton’s Batman can be heard saying in the trailer, Barry Allen can be seen choosing a specific timeline to save, which clearly affirms that there are more realities in existence within the multiverse. Both Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom and Black Adam might not have something to do with this whole new concept, however, their respective stories are pretty interesting on their own.
Now, looking at the bigger picture, Warner Bros. has quite a diverse selection of movies for its fans this year with Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, The Batman, The Flash, and Black Adam. The biggest advantage DC currently has against Marvel Studios is that all three MCU films to be released this year are sequels. With a few more variations to offer, DC can actually appeal to a much wider audience. Keeping that aside, DC is also bringing back Michael Keaton as Batman can probably entice older fans of the Caped Crusader who haven’t really been keeping tabs back into the DCEU.
