The Women in the Movies should not Just be Viewed as a Sex Symbol
The actress said that what she would like is that the women in the movies to be more rounded and well-layered. She said this because women in James Bond movies are just viewed as sex symbols. Ana further said, “What I would like is that the female roles in the Bond films, even though Bond will continue to be a man, are brought to life in a different way, that they’re given a more substantial part and recognition.”
Ana de Armas shared the stage with Daniel Craig in the movie No Time to Die. She merely had a screen time of 5 minutes in the movie, playing the role of CIA agent Paloma who teams up with Bond in Havana wearing a backless dress.
