Before her 13-year conservatorship was over, the singer and Sam Asghari announced their engagement in September 2021. Later, the much-in-love couple, the Hot Seat actor and the Hold Me Closer singer, who have endured many hardships together, married in June 2022 in an intimate ceremony in Los Angeles. Before they married, the couple had a prenuptial agreement to protect the singer’s assets.
The year 2022 provided a significant turning point for the pop star, as it was the first time in a decade that she was given complete control over her life, including the wedding of her long-time boyfriend. They met on her Slumber Party music video set in 2016 and have been together ever since. Recently, Britney Spears’ social media activities and racy posts have caused Sam Asghari to come to the public’s attention as controlling his wife.
Sam Asghari Was Peeved With Britney Spears’ Fans
Pop sensation Britney Spears wanted to safeguard her assets after experiencing many challenges during her conservatorship, which led her to want to be assured of everything after her new marriage to Sam Asghari. The couple signed a prenuptial agreement. After signing it, the newlyweds agreed that Asghari would not be entitled to any of Spears’ multi-million dollar fortune if they divorced.
But Fans were continuously targeting Asghari that he married Spears for her money. Although he denied claims he was with his wife for her money, reports traveled before their wedding that they could not agree on a prenuptial agreement. After the couple announced their engagement in September, Asghari joked on Instagram that he needed a prenup to protect his possessions, which are less valuable than Spears’ earnings.
He wrote on his Instagram story,
“Thank you, everyone, concerned about The prenup! Of course, we’re getting an iron-clad prenup to protect my jeep and shoe collection in case she dumps me one day.”
According to reports, however, the prenup negotiations were respectable and not indicative of conflict. It was also stated that the actor was concerned about ending up penniless if they separated. Britney Spears did not seem to have any trouble negotiating, and she reportedly allowed her husband and her legal team to take charge of the matter.
Britney Spears Wants To Sell Her $12 Million Calabasas Mansion
A Calabasas home Britney Spears purchased a little more than six months ago is reportedly on the market for $12 million. According to TMZ reports, the 41-year-old singer hinted that she planned to put the 11,650 square foot house she shares with husband Sam Asghari on the market because she didn’t fall in love with it. She purchased the stunning Californian mansion on June 2022 as she wanted to own her own home without approval after her 13-year conservatorship ended.
The Hold Me Closer singer still owns the Thousand Oaks mansion she purchased in 2015 for $7.5 million, from where she shares many photos on her social media posts, including one with an iconic living room backdrop. It is unclear, however, whether she plans to buy a new home or remain in her second residence.
