Wilde directed the movie from a screenplay by Katie Silberman, and upon release, it received mixed reviews from critics as well as the audience.
One of the reasons why the movie garnered attention was Wilde and Styles’ relationship, which bloomed during the filming in 2020. However, they stepped out in public in 2021 for a close friend’s wedding, but sadly, after two years in 2022, their romance came to an end. But recent reports have suggested that it might not be the end of their romance.

Earlier in May, the actress-filmmaker shared with People Magazine what being a mother and a filmmaker means to her. She revealed that her kids are begging her to make a non-R-rated movie so that they could watch it. She added,
The next few projects I’m directing all have a common theme, which is women who are living without shame. It’s interesting that they’re three different movies, but it’s all about women being empowered.
The actress further noted that she does think about how her projects or movies are going to affect her children, which she shares with Jason Sudeikis. Wilde added that she wants them to learn from her that everything in life is a process, and she wouldn’t be the director she is today if she hadn’t made all the things she has today.
Olivia Wilde mentioned in the interview that she tries to encourage everyone by revealing that her daughter wants to be a director, which she said was cool. The filmmaker lastly added that her daughter Daisy loves music videos and would sit and study the direction of singers including Dua Lipa, Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish and then direct her videos. Wilde joked that she is certain that her daughter would be very critical about her moves.
