Jeff Shaw ( Deke Shaw ) from the Television show Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D recently teamed up with the Marvel crew to shoot a batman parody for charity, Fund The Bat. Its purpose is to raise money for entertainment workers who lost their jobs due to the Covid 19 crisis. Marvel producer Geoffrey Colo recently stated that an Agents of Shield project would be released on November 30th.

Geoffrey recently revealed the project, sharing that the Marvel crew teamed up to create the parody film, Fund the Bat. He also elaborated that the money raised would help writers, electricians, hairstylists, camera operators, etc., who work in the entertainment industry. All proceeds from this film would be donated to Motion Picture Television Fund’s COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund.

About The Film

The video starring Jeff ward as Batman follows him as he is attempting to build a Go Fund Me page for himself as he recently became bankrupt due to the pandemic. He also reveals that Alfred, his butler, has been hospitalized due to Covid. Batman says that he attempted to manage Wayne enterprises but failed disastrously, causing the company to go bankrupt. Batman could not pay insurance on his Batmobile and was instead seen driving a black sedan with a Batman sticker on it. He also loses his bat cave and has to practice his moves in a nearby playground.

Now while this film jokingly showed a bankrupt batman, this film, however, was meant to remind viewers that the struggles of the covid pandemic are no joke. That many people have been laid off, and they require the help of people better off, to help cope up with the economic decline. The charity wrote, “Batman needs monetary aid. However, many other people need it far worse.”
The charity added, “Kindly donate generously to support the thousands of unemployed, behind the screen personnel who created the shows and movies that helped entertain you during this difficult time.”

Actor Clark Gregg or The beloved Agent Coulson from the Marvel Universe also shared the video on his Twitter page. “Everybody needs help these days, even #LeBat,” Gregg wrote on Twitter. “Check this video from some familiar friends. Then donate anything you can to support the important initiative taken by @MPTF.”

The Television series Marvel Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D aired in 2013, and have thus far, made seven seasons. Some of the stars are Ming-Na Wen, Chloe Bennet, Henry Simmons, Elizabeth Henstridge, and Clark Gregg. The series is based on the Marvel Shield comics by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. All seven seasons can be found on Netflix.
