Pique Loses One More Ally – Lionel Messi’s Family Sides With Shakira as Antonela Roccuzzo Blasts Former Catalan Following Clara Chia Marti Cheating Scandal
The publicized separation of Shakira and Gerard Pique was all over the news last year which also unveiled the cheating scandal the latter was linked with. This was obviously very tense at the time as reports kept on surfacing regarding the sports star’s cheating on his then-beau to date a woman way younger than him. Now that the dark year has finally come to an end in the singer’s life, she shared an Instagram post referring to the same and finding positivity which was even supported by Lionel Messi’s family.

Lionel Messi and Gerard Pique are from the same industry and even were teammates at Barcelona before the former moved to Paris Saint-Germain. Given their similar backgrounds, Messi’s family decided to stand with the latter’s former beau, Shakira who had to go through several heartbreaks last year.
The seven-times Ballon d’Or winner’s wife, Antonela Roccuzzo publicly supported the singer in an Instagram post when the Hips Don’t Lie singer on Sunday wrote about healing after betrayal.
The singer wrote an Instagram message to her fans in which she wrote in the caption,
“Although our wounds continue to be open in this new year, time has surgeon’s hands. Even if someone has betrayed us, we have to keep trusting.”
She added,
“There are fewer who leave and more who stay by our side. Our tears are not a waste, they water the soil where the future will be born and make us more human, so in the midst of heartbreak we can continue to love.”
That led to Messi’s wife coming forward to show who she favors in the matter.
In the comments section, Roccuzzo dropped three heart emojis indicating that she stands in support of her. Her support clearly suggests that Pique won’t be getting any sympathy from her given the fact that he is now enjoying his life with his young girlfriend Clara Chia Marti. The 23-year-old woman is also reported to be his lover when he was together with the Colombian star.

The former couple’s separation was quite a shock for everyone as the duo was rather a happy pair who had been together for more than a decade. Sharing two children, Milan and Sasha, many were in disbelief that the sports star cheated on his then-partner for a 23-year-old PR student, Clara Chia Marti.
After weeks of reports about their split, the former pair announced their separation in June last year with the former footballer moving on with Marti. Things got more serious when the new pair had their debut publicly not long after his split with the star. From the reports, it seems that the new couple is having a strong bonding meanwhile the pop star is also having a great time with her children.
