“Pissed” Jada Pinkett Smith Went “Crying Down the Freaking Aisle” When She Was Forced to Marry Will Smith
Jada Pinkett Smith’s world changed when her son Jaden Smith was born on the 8th of July 1998. The couple got married in 1997 when the 51-year-old actress was already pregnant with Jaden. When their son was born, Pinkett Smith decided to put a pause on many things, which included doing steamy scenes on camera.

On 31 December 1997, Jada Pinkett Smith tied the knot with Will Smith. When Pinkett Smith got married to the Men in Black actor, she was already pregnant with Jaden, her first child with Smith. The actress explained that she was really upset about the situation, as she was about to get married because she was pregnant. Pinkett Smith said, “I was so upset that I had to have a wedding. I was so pissed.” She further explained that she “went crying down the freakin’ aisle getting married.”
Pinkett was 3 months pregnant when she got married to Smith on New Year’s Eve. Reportedly, she wasn’t happy about the unexpected marriage decision she and Smith had to take because she fell pregnant.

With the birth of Pinkett Smith’s second child, Willow, in 2000, her family expanded and became happier. Trey Smith, the 54-year-old actor’s first child, was also a member of the Magic Mike XXL actress’s family. Since she had 3 kids now, Pinkett Smith started thinking twice before taking up acting projects. While talking about why she is not open to doing n*de scenes anymore in front of the camera, the actress said,
“That part of my life is in the past. I’ve got sons now, and I’ve got a little girl. That was the other, younger Jada, who didn’t have any other responsibilities but to herself. Now I’ve got to think about my kids.”

Jaden has previously mentioned how close he is to his mother. He has been very vocal about being a mama’s boy than a daddy’s boy. In a past interview with David Letterman, Jaden said that Jada Pinkett is much easier to talk to when it comes to communicating his feelings. While talking about his father, the Karate Kid actor said,
“I think I’m a mom’s boy more than I am a dad’s boy because my dad, when we’re shooting movies, he will just push me to the edge of death.”
Jaden is also very close to his sister Willow. They are often spotted together and the actor has mentioned often that their relationship is more like friends than siblings.
