Places Where Kingpin Can Show Up In MCU
Kingpin is finally in the MCU, thanks to the Disney+ series Hawkeye. People have long waited for Vincent D’Onofrio to show up in the MCU and that has happened. While Kingpin made his MCU debut, Daredevil got his moment in No Way Home and everything worked out perfectly. There were speculations that Marvel might recast Wilson Fisk but they made the right call by not doing so. Now we wonder, where else can Kingpin show up in the MCU after his debut? Let’s find out!
Moon Knight
Fans are really excited for Moon Knight, and for all the right reasons. Moon Knight and Kingpin do share a comic history as they both crossed paths in Moon Knight #27 from the 80s when Knight was tracking a serial killer in New York City. This makes Kingpin a potential nexus point for many movies and shows. He can appear in tons of projects considering his gangster network and his relationship with so many Marvel characters. Plus, it’s New York!
Echo
Comic book fans know that Maya Lopez is the adopted daughter and a trusted lieutenant of the Kingpin. Knowing that Alaqua Cox will be leading her own spin-off, it would only make sense for Kingpin to have a substantial role in the series. Moreover, fans know that her beloved father was killed by none other than Kingpin, it would be an interesting crossover. MCU has finally taken a strong storyline straight from the comics.
Black Widow Sequel
It’s highly unclear if there’s a Black Widow sequel but it also seems inevitable as we need more places where Yelena can appear. If the sequel happens, then the recent revelation considering Kingpin’s relation with Eleanor is interesting. Moreover, it was Eleanor who hired Yelena to kill Hawkeye which just makes everything more intense. Plus, Yelena’s relationship with Valentina could also link with Kingpin, who knows?
Daredevil Sequel Series
Of course, the Daredevil sequel series. He has already played a major role as the central villain in the Netflix series and can continue to do so in the follow-up series.
Secret Invasion
Considering his prominence in New York City, it is highly possible that Kingpin can appear in Secret Invasion alongside many characters. If the Samuel L. Jackson led series is anything like the ones in comics, then the Skrulls will invade New York and a Kingpin appearance is more than likely. If so, then he will be involved in arms resistance and might even assist Kate Bishop and Daredevil despite their epic battle history.
Spider-Man 4
If this happens, then the MCU fans will go bonker. Kingpin is a classic Spider-Man villain and now that Tom Holland’s Peter Parker is all by himself, with no Stark Tech or help, a hardcore villain like Kingpin would make for the perfect villain. Considering the history they share, the movie could have Peter team up with Daredevil as well, giving us a crossover we didn’t know we needed. What do you think?
