Predictions For The 2022 Oscars: Best Actor:

Commentary On Awards Prediction: Will Smith lost his first Oscar nomination for “Ali” to Denzel Washington for “Training Day” 20 years ago, and the two greatest superstars might face off again, depending on early word on “King Richard” and “The Tragedy of Macbeth.” It won’t be easy since Andrew Garfield is a sight to behold in “tick, tick… Boom,” and Benedict Cumberbatch might be in the running for “The Power of the Dog” or “The Electrical Life of Louis Wain.” The Oscar nomination voting period begins on Thursday, January 27, 2022, and ends on Tuesday, February 1, 2022. The official Academy Awards nominations will be revealed on February 8, 2022, with the ceremony taking place on March 27, 2022.
