“Departure feel like the death of a dream”: Prince Harry Claims Royal Family Made a Huge Blunder With Meghan Markle Missing an Enormous Global Opportunity

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been in the headlines for quite some time now. The couple has been in the media for a lot of their controversial statements and their ever-going on feud with The Royal Family. With their Netflix docuseries airing earlier this month on Netflix, the public image of the couple has only gone from bad to worse. Before its release, there were wide speculations that the documentary will help them gather support from parts of the UK. However, that did not happen and they are apparently losing the support they had in the US as well.

Although Harry & Meghan was a colossal failure, there are still some people who were still hopeful about the couple’s return to Royal Family. After the series was released even those last hopes were extinguished.

Prince Harry says that the Royal Family blew a great opportunity with Meghan Markle

In the 5th episode of the famous docuseries, Prince Harry talked about how his family missed an opportunity. He was referring to everyone “inside the system.” He said, “Whether it was my family, whether it is staff, whether it PR whoever it is have already missed an enormous opportunity with my wife, and how far that would go globally.” It is true to some extent about what he said.

Prince Harry’s and Markle’s departure from the Royal family came as a huge disappointment to a certain group of people. The people who were hoping for modernization within the monarchy were really disheartened. Meghan Markle being the first biracial member of the Royal Family in the recent past actually gave people hope for change. But, that hope was all lost when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle decided to leave the Royal Family.

English Writer describes the departure of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex as “the death of a dream”

Afua Hirsch is an English writer and broadcaster and she described her views on Harry & Meghan. She commented on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s departure from the family. She explained that their relationship gave a hope that England can change. Hirsch said, “The most intractable, traditional parts of Britain can evolve and reform. Their departure felt like the death of a dream.”
