Prince Harry Says Tell-All Memoir ‘Spare’ is ‘accurate and wholly truthful’, Hints Royal Family is Now in Deep Trouble

The Royal family is one of the most influential families in the world right now. One slight change and development is taken notice of by the entire world. There has always been some tension in the family since Prince Harry decided to step down from his Royal duties along with his wife, Meghan Markle. The couple, since their departure, has revealed a few things and mentioned what happens behind closed doors. With how invested people are, it’s not a surprise that people couldn’t wait when the Duke of Sussex said he’ll be releasing a memoir with his stories of growing up as a part of the family.

Previous Tensions in the Royal Family

There has been some undeniable tension in the royal family ever since Princess Diana died. As confessed by Prince Harry in interviews, the relationship between him and his father has been strenuous at best since his father “cut him off financially”. Added to the fact that the Prince, to this day, doesn’t know if his mother died or was assassinated.

Prince Harry also had a falling out with the other royal family members over his marriage with the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, and their children.

Prince Harry and his memoir Spare

The Duke’s memoir, coming out on 10th January is supposed to have devastating implications for the monarchy. The memoir is titled Spare, which might be a dig at the position he knew he had in the family. It is a word that Prince Harry knew was attached to him as he grew up alongside his brother, the heir Prince William. After rumors that his memoir was (or should be) rewritten in the wake of the Queen’s death or even scrapped altogether, Harry’s bold decision with the title suggests the opposite is true. His publisher promised “raw, unflinching honesty”.

This is the Prince’s chance to tell his life story on his own terms and in his own words. His personal truth might significantly influence how his family members, who continue to say very little publicly, are perceived by the public. The publisher also claimed that the memoir is “a landmark publication full of insight, revelation, self-examination, and hard-won wisdom about the eternal power of love over grief”.

Prince Harry has taken some steps in the previous few years from which there’s no going back. However, we can be sure that this is going to be one of, if not the most significant of them all.
