It’s been almost five years since the couple decided to step away from the royal limelight but have always found themselves in the middle of it. A recent cover story featured the royal couple’s business plans, and one former royal working employee opened up about the biggest lesson Princess Diana taught her son.

No trouble in paradise for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

It is no hidden fact that since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle decided to step down as working royals in 2020, they have been subjected to various discussions and gossips. There were rumors about the two of them heading in a different direction; however, a cover story for Vanity Fair clarifies that it’s not the case.

Vanity Fair’s cover story dwells on the business ambitions of the couple since their exit from their royal status. But what caught everyone’s attention is the fact that a source has alleged that there is no truth to the rumors of them splitting up. They shared,

They are so hot for each other. Like, you know how you meet those couples where you’re like, the way they’re looking at each other, I should probably not be here right now?

The published cover story by Anna Peele alleges that just because there is no trouble in paradise, it does not mean that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have not discussed a potential split in the future. Peele mentioned that a few years ago, a rumor started to circulate the book, which was supposed to be a ‘post-divorce’ book, but there was no written or formal proposal about it.

It was reported that Markle’s team spoke to publishing houses to gauge their interest in a book which was centered around post-Harry divorce. Defending the couple, a source shared with Daily Beast (via Express UK),

The Vanity Fair divorce story seemed very unfair. There was a book, but there wasn’t a book; she was planning for life after divorce, but they were totally in love. What? There was not a shred of evidence. Things aren’t easy for them right now. Vanity Fair has succeeded in making a bad time worse.

However, according to the New York Post, multiple sources alleged that if Meghan Markle acknowledged her shortcomings or personal contributions to situations rather than staying trapped in a victim narrative, her perception towards life and people might be better.

A source alleged that the couple, since moving to California, has announced multi-million dollar deals with Spotify and Netflix, but none of those has been converted, as the couple remained challenging. They added that the royal couple did not want to do what other celebrities do on their podcast, but instead they wanted a big theme, but in the end, they had no ideas.

Royal insider shared why Prince Harry and Meghan Markle might ‘never split’

A royal insider, Paul Burrell, who worked as Princess Diana’s butler from 1987 to 1997, recently spoke to the Mirror and shared his opinion on the current situation of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. He said,

I think there are no signs of divorce because Harry would lose too much. I think Meghan and Harry have a common goal to make themselves as rich as possible in as short a time as possible. I think that balance works together for the sake of their brand, their marriage.

Burrell added that according to him, Meghan Markle retains a fascination for lots of people.

He also touched upon how he believes that Prince Harry might have forgotten one important rule that his late mother taught him. Paul Burrell mentioned,

Harry and Meghan have a very privileged lifestyle. Harry has always had that, and Meghan has long aspired to it. But now they share that lifestyle. I always circle back to the fact that Harry’s mother taught him long ago that the price for a privileged lifestyle is public service.

The former royal butler added that Prince Harry seems to have forgotten about the lesson from Princess Diana, as he now lives like a celebrity, which is completely different from his royal one.

Prince Harry addressed their ‘divorce rumors’ at the New York Times DealBook Summit (via Mirror) and noted that it’s hard to keep up with the rumors, which is why ignoring it is the best thing they can do.
