Beyoncé reaffirmed that Renaissance‘s mission was to “create a safe place, a place without judgment.” Beyoncé, 41, played classics including Crazy in Love, Beautiful Liar, and Naughty Girl, as well as more recent songs like Freedom, Spirit, and Be Alive, moving through a decade’s worth of memorable hits. In September, the trip is supposed to end in New Orleans. According to Billboard, Beyoncé’s 41-show run might earn well over $275 million, making it her fourth tour to surpass $200 million in sales.

Beyonce is currently making headlines because she is disputing the International Revenue Service’s (IRS) assertion that she owes $2.7 million in taxes. This month, the singer will file a petition, and her legal team is already taking the necessary steps. Beyonce claimed in the petition that the IRS had made numerous mistakes in her tax returns. The musician reportedly received a Notice of Deficiency in January 2023, per the reports.

According to the notice, the Energy Singer owes $805,850 in additional tax and $161,170 in penalty for 2018. It also states she owes $1,442,747 in additional tax and $288,549.40 in penalty for 2019. There is also interest due on those amounts.

Beyoncé alleges in her appeal that the IRS made a mistake and that they rejected deductions worth millions of dollars, including $868,766, which was related to a charitable gift carryover filed in 2018.

According to Forbes’ most recent estimate from June 2022, the singer has a net worth of $450 million, and her wildly popular Renaissance tour is predicted to earn at least $275 million. Beyoncé may be able to pay these obligations, but she won’t settle any debts she feels she shouldn’t have to without first battling them.
