‘Releasing all grudges today’: Kanye West Seemingly Forgives Kim Kardashian, Pete Davidson After Queen Elizabeth II’s Death as Fans Say It Took a Literal Queen to Die To Show Him the Way
Kanye West is a well-known name in the music industry in the United States for his work as a rapper, songwriter, record producer, businessman, and fashion designer. West became famous as a Roc-A-Fella producer. He produced successful hits for Alicia Keys, Ludacris, and Janet Jackson, among others. West is a musician and his early productions featured soul vocal samples and his own drums and instruments. His influences include classical music, 1970s R&B, baroque pop, trip hop, arena rock, folk music, alternative music, electronic music, synthpop, and industrial music.
Kanye West stated that Queen’s death taught him the value of life
West appears to have done some soul-searching following the death of Queen Elizabeth II. West declared in an Instagram post honoring the Queen that he would forgive everyone and forget the past.
He showed a slideshow with the phrase “Life is precious” next to two photographs of the Queen when she was younger. In addition, he turned his back on the light and declared, “Today is the day I forgive everyone.”
Did the passing of the queen motivate West to finally make peace with everyone?
Kanye West did not elaborate, so it is unclear to whom he is referring or whether he intends to forgive and forget for more than a day. He has many high-profile feuds to settle, including those with Pete Davidson, Kid Cudi, and John Legend. He also went on a rant earlier this week, calling out Gap and Adidas for what he perceived to be unfair treatment in their partnerships with him.
Davidson dated West’s ex-wife Kim Kardashian for nine months, during which time the rapper made both verbal and physical threats to the comedian, and it was natural for West to express his joy at the couple’s breakup in August on Instagram. Kid Cudi claims it would take a “motherfucking miracle” for him and Davidson to reunite after he was left out of Donda 2 for no other reason than their friendship.
Also in an interview with Esquire, he said, “Are you aware of what it’s like to wake up one day, check your social media, and discover that somebody is trending something nasty about you?”
