Robert De Niro calls the gender-discrimination trial ‘nonsense’

Actor Robert De Niro took the stand once again on Tuesday in New York City in his gender-discrimination trial against his former VP, production, and finance at his Canal Pictures, Graham Chase Robinson, and regarded all the allegations as ‘nonsense’.

The actor said via People, “The whole case is nonsense. It’s absurd. But I’m here!” He had also said in his Monday’s testimony that the claims by his former employee were out of proportion;,

“She is working for me; she has to do what I’m asking. It is not like I’m asking her to go out on the floor and scrape floors and go out and mop the floor. I didn’t do any of that and neither did [girlfriend Tiffany Chen], so this is all nonsense.”

However, he did agree that Chase Robinson did anything and everything within the confines of her job, but objected to the implication that it is anything and everything in his personal life.
