Robert Downey Jr Has Only One Regret From The Character Iron Man In First Avengers Movie
Robert Downey Jr has been the official face of Iron Man ever since its inception in the early 2000s. He appeared on Good Morning America with the New York Times-bestselling author Thomas Kostigen. The actor and author duo spoke about their book Cool Food: Erasing Your Carbon Footprint One Bite at a Time. While talking about a sustainable, healthy, and delicious way of eating climate-friendly food, Robert Downey Jr even mentioned his association with blueberries.
While talking about his famous blueberry scene from Avengers, Robert Downey Jr said-
‘Tony eats a lot and looking back at his blueberries, I thought Oh! strawberries would have been a better message. Maybe it didn’t fit in with the palette of the production design at the time. I’m not sure.”
Robert Downey Jr regrets eating blueberries instead of strawberries in the first movie of Avengers released in 2012.
Downey mentions in the book-
“Cool food is a new category in the food space. It’s a different way to eat to save the planet. It isn’t a diet or a meal plan. It isn’t even so much about food itself. Cool food is really about lifestyle—transformational shifts from little actions, experiences, and different choices. It’s a holistic approach to making the world a whole lot better by simply making more informed decisions about something that each and every one of us does anyway—eat,”
According to the award-winning author Thoms Kostigen, a human being needs only three things to survive- water, air, and food, and only food offers multiple options and upon making sensible decisions with respect to our eating habits, we can increase the longevity of our planet.
Robert Downey Jr On The Success Of Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer
Robert Downey Jr believes the success of Oppenheimer has become a problem for the award-winning filmmaker Christopher Nolan. The actor was present at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival recently to honor Christopher Nolan with the inaugural Sundance Institute Trailblazer Award. While talking about Nolan’s introverted side and the huge success of Oppenheimer, as reported by Entertainment Weekly, Downey said-
“Confidentially, he needs his spirits lifted. He’s a bit blue because a terrible tragedy has befallen him. I don’t mean to bring this up, and I know it’s very personal: He has become recognizable on the street. He recoils as though from a hot flame from this new and most unwelcome reality.”
