Robert Downey Jr. Outshines Ryan Reynolds and Chris Evans’ Hilarious Deadpool 3 Post-Credits Scene in a Forgotten 1993 Documentary
- Chris Evans delivers a colorful rant in 'Deadpool 3,' filled with strong language.
- However, Robert Downey Jr. had already done so in a 1993 documentary.
- RDJ’s scene swiftly beats the post-credits scene featuring Johnny Storm.
Who would have thought that a pre-Iron Man Robert Downey Jr. could outshine the profanity-laden tirades of Deadpool 3? A newly discovered documentary, The Last Party, shows a surprising and fascinating side of the actor we haven’t seen before.
In the Deadpool 3 post-credits scene, Chris Evans gives a wild and colorful rant. But Downey Jr. had already delivered an even more intense one in the 1993 documentary.
A Forgotten Documentary Reveals Robert Downey Jr.’s Fiery Side
Shot at the Democratic National Convention, The Last Party shows Robert Downey Jr. visiting the New York Stock Exchange. The usually charismatic Downey Jr. is visibly disturbed by the chaos and greed he sees.
“If money is evil, then that building is hell,” he declares, his voice filled with disgust. But it’s what he says next that has sent shockwaves through the internet. In a fiery outburst like something you’d hear from a rapper, the Hollywood star tears into the people on the trading floor with sharp criticism. He rants:
“This the most obnoxious group of money-hungry, low-IQ, high-energy, jack-rabbit, f*ckin’ wannabe-bigtime, smalltime sh*t-talking, bothersome, irritating, immature motherf*ckers I’ve ever had to endure for more than five minutes.”

The footage shows a side of Downey Jr. that’s very different from his usual smooth, clever image. He has clearly never been afraid to speak his mind, even if it’s tough to hear.
Let’s Not Forget Chris Evans’ Bold Stance in Deadpool 3
Even the Deadpool 3 post-credits scene hits hard. It turns out that there’s a surprise connection to the mid-2000s version of the Fantastic Four, too. Deadpool and Wolverine meet Jonny Storm right after they land in the Void.
It’s when a hooded figure jumps from the scaffolding with a dramatic landing, then takes off the hood to reveal his face. Deadpool’s thrilled at first, thinking it’s Captain America. But when Pyro and Cassandra Nova’s crew show up, he yells, “Flame on!” and then shows who he really is.
It doesn’t end well, as Pyro puts out the Human Torch while he’s still in the air. Deadpool and Wolverine wake up tied together, with Johnny next to them. Meanwhile, Chris Evans‘ character gives a final, curse-filled speech against Nova, saying (via Marvel For Fans):
And I’ll tell you who ‘her’ is: Cassandra Nova. A megalomaniacal, psychotic a*shole. A finger l*cking dead-inside pixie slab of third-rate dime-store nut-milk. And I’ll tell you what she can do. She can l*ck my goddamn cinnamon ring clean and kick rocks all the way to bald hell.
When they reach Nova’s base, Deadpool tells her that Johnny was badmouthing her. Johnny insists it’s not true, but Nova still punishes him by peeling the skin and flesh from his bones like a tablecloth. Needless to say, he dies.
Deadpool & Wolverine is currently screening in theaters, while you can watch The Last Party on Amazon Prime Video!
