Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool to Lead the Avengers Against Jonathan Majors’ Kang the Conqueror in Avengers: Secret Wars? New Update Claims Deadpool 3 as Epicenter of Multiverse Saga
Ryan Reynolds played the role of the Marvel superhero Deadpool aka Wade Wilson, a mutant mercenary with heavy scarring all over his body, for the first time in X-Men Origins: Wolverine in 2009. Years later, in 2016, Reynolds reprised his character in the movie Deadpool which is a spin-off of the X-Men film series.
The movie has gotten two sequels so far, one of which was released in 2018 and the other one is set to be released in 2024. It was announced that Hugh Jackman will be seen as Wolverine once again in the upcoming movie. Deadpool 3 is going to be a part of Phase 5 of the MCU. There have been many speculations around the movie and recently, and one more has joined the list.
Deadpool 3 Might Lead Up to Avengers: Secret Wars
The entire Phase 5 of the MCU seems to be revolving around the theory of multiple universes. So far, this phase has released two movies, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Deadpool 3 is going to be the fourth movie to be released as a part of MCU’s Phase 5.
Ryan Reynolds‘ Deadpool 3 is going to be a landmark movie of this phase because it not only brings back Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine but also is rumored to feature some other Fox Marvel characters. In addition to this, the movie is suspected to be surrounding the multiverse storyline.

An insider KC Walsh recently shared on X that the third installment of Deadpool will be playing a major role in leading up to the events of Avengers: Secret Wars. The latter movie is going to be the final entry in Phase 5 which surrounds the multiverse saga. There have been many such rumors, like the new Ryan Reynolds movie will be dealing with the whole multiverse fiasco, but this is the first time that it has been hinted to be an integral lead-up to Avengers: Secret Wars.
Doctor Strange 3 Was Going to Lead Up to Avengers: Secret Wars
Deadpool 3 is rumored to feature Battleworld which is described as the new Earth where the Time Variance Authority (TVA) will be gathering superheroes from multiple collapsing realities. This Battleworld will also be an important part of the sixth Avengers movie if the Marvel comics are anything to go by.
About a month ago, there was a completely different speculation about what will end up being the reason that would lead up to Avengers: Secret Wars. It was Doctor Strange 3 that was going to make things difficult enough to lead up to the final war in the multiverse saga.

Apart from the danger from the Council of Kangs, Doctor Stephen Strange’s multiple variants were supposedly going to cause incursions across the multiverse that would eventually lead to the new Avengers films. As of now, it is very hard to tell which of the following rumors are true.
