The Flash just can’t seem to get any positive news related to the film and even its cast. Since its release in June, the film has received bad reviews socially regarding the visuals or VFX works. All one could talk about the film is that it’s bad CGI at the starting scene itself. Ultimately it underperformed at the box office which also has a lot to do with Ezra Miller’s various problematic issues.

Furthermore talking about the film’s bad CGI work, even the Hot Toys figure of   Supergirl played by Sasha Calle in The Flash has not been received well by fans, who believe that the face of the figure resembles other actors such as Tom Holland more than Calle herself.

As always, Hot Toys Collectible superhero figures are expected to be available in the market soon after a film gets out. Therefore following the release of The Flash, it was expected that there will be collectible toy figures soon out in the market. Although Hot Toys are known for its highly realistic and accurate designs, it is seemingly not the case with Sasha Calle’s Supergirl toy figure released recently.

Many pointed out that the face of the supergirl figure does not feel as if it is Calle’s. Rather, according to them, it almost resembles Tom Holland (MCU’s Spiderman) more. Additionally, some have even drawn a comparison with Doctor Who star Matt Smith.

This inaccuracy comes after The Flash was criticized for its bad CGI work and too much reliance on VFX throughout the film. Nevertheless, apart from the face, the whole toy figure in general is still a great six-scale toy worth having in the collection.
