Shakira Disses Ex Gerard Pique in New Ad, Hints She’s More into Self-Love After The Love of Her Life Chose a Woman 22 Years Younger Than Her

The singer has been in the headlines ever since the reports of her separation from former Barcelona defender, Gerard Pique came to the surface. The former pair announced their separation in June this year without stating any reason behind their breakup. That speculated many theories including the one where many reports claimed that the latter cheated on his then-girlfriend with a younger woman.
Shakira Portraying Self-Love in The New Burberry Campaign
The 45-year-old singer, Shakira recently collaborated in a Burberry campaign and joined alongside Burna Boy as the face of the luxury brand’s campaign, The Night Before. In the new campaign of the British luxury brand, the singer introduced the new collection as the brand ambassador.
Not just the brand, but the superstar also shared snaps and videos of her new campaign on social media where she was seen wearing a lavish sheer gown embellished in crystals, that echoes the look of Lila Moss at the 2022 Met Gala, with other objects flying around her.
During the video clip, she was spotted receiving a bag and ring with the latter being a large diamond ring on her little finger with the word LOVE written on it.
Many users of social media were keen to notice that ring speculating that the singer is declaring self-love as a new weapon to slam her former long-time partner, Gerard Pique who chose to cheat on her.
Even in the brand’s Behind The Scenes Q/A, she shares her thoughts on the luxury fashion house. She stated, “To me, Burberry is elegance personified, and timeless; fashion is such an ever-changing world, always evolving,” she continued. “Burberry manages to evolve with the time but always keeps its distinctive, classy style.”
It could be a possible hint that she wants to evolve with time given the “darkest” hours she had to go through by moving on classically.
Gerard Pique is Dating Clara Chia Marti After Leaving Shakira
The singer did give a classic response to her former longtime lover, Pique who left his former girlfriend to date his new girlfriend, Clara Chia Marti.
The duo started garnering attention when the former Barcelona defender got public with his new girlfriends just weeks after officially announcing his separation through a joint statement with the Colombian star.
Reportedly, the Hips Don’t Lie singer was not happy with his rash decision as the duo agreed on not making things more complicated, especially getting official with their lovers as that would cause them unnecessary media attention.
The new couple has an age difference of around 12 years as Marti is just 23 years old. As per the previous reports by Papparazzi Jordi Martin, the new couple had been dating each other for “about a year.”
She works under Pique’s company Kosmos and the pair reportedly met each other during the events.
Meanwhile, Pique and the Colombian superstar had reportedly agreed on a custody arrangement to avoid an ugly court fight. The former player has given up his custody to the mother of two kids, Milan and Sasha and the kids will move with the singer to Miami next year.
