Shakira is Finally Moving on From Gerard Pique’s Toxic Relationship, Reportedly Dating a Mystery Man For Four Months
Last year Shakira and Gerard Piqué announced their separation on social media. The former couple was together for 12 years and share two sons Sasha Piqué Mebarak and Milan Piqué Mebarak. The singer found that her ex-boyfriend was having an affair with Clara Chia Marti. A few months later she released a diss track called BZRP Music Session #53 in which she slammed Piqué and his girlfriend. And amid the drama the Hips Don’t Lie singer is reportedly dating an mystery man in Miami.
Shakira Is Dating a Mystery Man
Given that Gerard Piqué is happy with his new girlfriend Clara Chia Marti, Shakira has finally made the decision to move on from him. According to Spanish media news site OK Diario, the Can’t Remember to Forget You singer reportedly planning to move to Florida after agreeing to share child custody with Pique. The Colombian singer has another reason to relocating to Florida as reports suggest she wants to stay close to the new man she is currently dating.
The site claims,
“It seems the Colombian singer could have found a new illusion in the shape of a mysterious man she apparently met in Miami and has been in contact with for four months.”
Additionally, there are rumours that the mystery man Shakira is dating is not Antonio de la Rua. Laura Fa, a Shakira expert and regular contributor to the Catalan newspaper El Periodico, claimed earlier this month that the singer has planned to leave the city in the coming weeks. She wants to take her kids out of Barcelona.
Shakira Slams Gerard Piqué’s New Girlfriend
Previously Shakira slammed her ex-boyfriend in interview. While it is clear that the singer is struggling to overcome with pain after suspecting her longtime partner was cheating on her, she released two songs in response to his cheating scandal. The La Tortura hitmaker spoke with Canal Estrellas in an exclusive interview and shared the reason of her split with Gerard Pique.
She shared,
“I believed the story that a woman needs a man to make her feel complete. I also had the vision of a home where both parents lived with the children.”
The Waka Waka singer has revealed that after being dumped by her ex, she feels more independent and self-sufficient. She continued,
“I’ve always been emotionally quite dependent on men, and I’ve fallen in love with love, and I think I’ve been able to understand that story from another perspective. Today I am sufficient on my own.”
The Te Felicito singer took a jab at Piques’ new girlfriend, Clara Chia Marti, and said,
“There is a place in hell reserved for women who don’t support other women. When a woman has to face life’s battles, she comes out stronger.”
The Colombian singer, who got divorced with her ex-boyfriend Gerard Pique last year, is rumoured to be ready to move on from the traumatic breakup.
