Following recent rumors of them reconciling, it seems that the Señorita singers are working in full swing to rekindle their romance. How? According to recent reports, Mendes was spotted in Los Angeles loading up his parked SUV with groceries, a bundle of firewood, and a bouquet of flowers, hours before meeting Cabello.
For those who are unaware, the singers began dating in 2019 and since then, their PDA has set a few goals for their fans. The couple, unfortunately, split up in 2021.
Prior to their reunion a few days ago at Coachella, they were even romantically linked to other personalities.
And now, the Stitches artist was reportedly seen buying a bouquet for a romantic evening with the Havana singer at his West Hollywood home. Are they back together?
Shawn Mendes Spotted Buying Flowers for Date Night
The weekend seemed to be a romantic one for Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello. Before heading to his Los Angeles, California, home, the Monster singer was seen purchasing a bouquet of flowers and some firewood from a nearby store.
As he was being photographed entering his car, he was dressed in a white T-shirt, black pants, and white sneakers.
On the other hand, the 26-year-old singer-songwriter was also seen on camera outside Mendes’ house, but she tried to hide in her attire. She was dressed in a matching pair of dark orange sweatpants, a sweatshirt with a hood over her head, and black shoes. In addition, she covered her mouth and nose with a face mask and added sunglasses to shield her eyes.
Just one week after making headlines for kissing and cuddling at Coachella, Mendes, and Cabello went out for a date night.
As they remained close and socialized with friends while attending the music festival, the ex-couple appeared to be very much back together. While they were being filmed walking, someone asked if they were “back together,” and Cabello appeared to answer, “Yes”.
Friends, Lovers, And Ex-Lovers
Decades have passed since Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello first met. Their first meeting was while performing for Austin Mahone’s tour. Even Cabello confessed her feelings for the Perfectly Wrong singer, saying,
“I remember I wanted to hang out with you, but you were always on the tour bus, just learning guitar.”
The former member of Fifth Harmony, who was “the only person” to speak to Mendes during the tour, captured his attention as well.
The first song they worked on together was I Know What You Did Last Summer, which they eventually collaborated on. A few years later, their mega-hit, Seniorita was released.
Since then, they remained friendly, but their fans began shipping them nonstop. So, when they learned that they had started dating in the summer of 2019, they were overjoyed.
Just a few days ago, Mendes and Cabello were also spotted together on a date in Santa Monica. They passed a strip of restaurants without making any effort to hide their PDA. These recent sightings have many fans believing that the former lovers are giving their relationship another chance. Though, they haven’t confirmed their rekindled romance yet.
While they were apart for 18 months, Mendes was romantically linked to Sabrina Carpenter and Jocelyne Miranda. But he never romanced either of the women, according to reports.
The Work from Home singer, on the other hand, spent a brief period dating the co-founder of Lox Club, Austin Kevitch, in 2022.
