Piers Morgan is just one of the many people who happen to hate Meghan Markle’s guts. He has never missed a chance to lay it all on her. Pretty normal for someone who is obsessed with tearing down the royal daughter-in-law’s image. Yet people believe that his obsession with her has its origin in a different reason. A lot of people are of the view that the firebrand journalist is after Meghan Markle‘s (figurative) head is that she shot him down (again figuratively) when he was coming after her. They are of the view that Morgan is just one disgruntled ex-one-sided lover, who hasn’t gotten over the rejection. Just what any normal toxic man whose love remained unrequited, would do.
But the former GMB host was vociferous in denying the same. He claims to have a loving wife, and that he couldn’t care less about what the people say about his preferences. He was extremely sure of himself. As an answer to the people who were questioning his loyalty, he wished his wife a very happy birthday on social media.

The 57-year-old captioned the photos,
“All the trolls raging that I only criticize Meghan Markle because I ‘fancied’ her & then got upset when she ghosted me… have reminded me that I forgot to publicly wish my wife Celia a happy birthday yesterday. (And yes, she knows she lucked out).”
But to his detractors, it was enough to provide the necessary fuel to the fire. They questioned what sort of a man would bring in the name of the Duchess of Sussex in his wife’s birthday wish. One fan mocked, “Making your wife’s birthday about Meghan. Totally not obsessed.”
Another wrote, “She broke his heart by marrying the prince. He is an obsession scorned.”

No comparison between Princess Diana and Meghan Markle
That didn’t deter Piers Morgan from speaking on his favorite topic – how terrible he thinks Meghan Markle is. He mocked Prince Harry for comparing Princess Diana and the Suits alum. Morgan said that he had known both of them personally, and there was no comparison between the two. He said,
“Having known both women, Princess Diana and Meghan Markle, I can say with absolute certainty that they’re nothing in common whatsoever. I couldn’t think of two women more different.”
