Reports have been around that Lopez has now adopted a new tactic to save her relationship by distancing herself from Affleck as she enjoys a solo trip with friends at the New York Fashion Week.

Jennifer Lopez Distances Herself from Husband Ben Affleck

In an attempt to save her marriage, Jennifer Lopez has reportedly adopted new tactics by distancing herself from her husband Ben Affleck. After months of rumors that both Lopez and Affleck are facing trouble in their marriage, reports have been around that Lopez has now stopped acting needy and distanced herself from Affleck.

As reported by Heat World, “Jen has stopped acting so needy and started to enjoy the space they have had lately. It’s opened her eyes to how much fun she can have without Ben – especially as he can be such an awkward bore at these events. She’ll spend time with him soon enough, but catching up with her family and fashion friends on the East Coast has been a breath of fresh air.”

The insider also revealed that while Affleck rolls his eyes at some of Lopez’s company, this solo trip has allowed her to sip on some cocktails freely. Talking about this insider told Heat “These are the people who Ben would roll his eyes at and cross the street to avoid, but Jen loves sipping cocktails with the fash-pack without worrying that [recovering alcoholic] Ben will disapprove or be tempted. It’s done them the world of good and she’s not missed him one little bit!”

While Lopez enjoys her solo trip, Affleck is looking after their kids back in Los Angeles.
