Things have eventually come to an end! After weeks of reports about the estranged couple, Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady’s separation, they have officially filed for divorce. Their decision to finally end their 13 years long marriage came after reports of big fights that the pair had over the latter’s decision to come out of his retirement without discussing it with the former.

The reports about their split started to ignite when Victoria’s Secret supermodel was spotted without her wedding ring during her outings. After noticing that the couple had been living separately for a while, things started getting more evident.

It all started going off the course when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback announced to come out of his retirement just a few weeks after announcing leaving the game for good. Reports claimed that the NFL player did not discuss his un-retirement from his wife Gisele Bündchen which lead to “epic fights” the couple had.

The 42-year-old supermodel “wasn’t thrilled at all when he went back” on the field. She was always concerned about her husband sustaining injuries and reportedly unhappy with the busy schedules of the 45-year-old player.

His major time was spent on the field resulting in less time for his family which is what the supermodel was unhappy about. Their different opinions resulted in the couple living separately and ultimately hiring attorneys for their divorce.

The Estranged Couple Broke The Silence on Their Divorce

The estranged pair have finally decided to call off their 13-year-old marriage and have filed for their divorce in Florida on Friday morning. Not just that, the involved party directly addressed the divorce reports through their social media.

The supermodel addressed her divorce on her Instagram story by writing, “With much gratitude for our time together, Tom and I have amicably finalized our divorce.” Sharing that her priority “will continue to be our children whom I love with all my heart,” she added that the estranged pair will “continue co-parenting” their two children, Benjamin, and Vivian.

“The decision to end a marriage is never easy”  she stated adding that the couple had “grown apart” which is why they wanted it to end.

The Pair Had a Fiery Relationship

The former couple has worked on their divorce and settlement amid the reports of their separation. They hired lawyers earlier this month and had been going through their separation procedures.

An insider shared that the former couple “have a fiery relationship.” The insider also added that the supermodel was short-tempered especially when the player decided to continue playing football. “Gisele is a bit hot-headed — she has that Brazilian heat!”

Tom Brady shared on his Instagram story that the couple has “finalized” their divorce and “arrived at this decision amicably.” He explained that the divorce was indeed painful and difficult for them and wished one another the best for their future.

Both celebrities ended their message by asking for privacy as they are going through a difficult time.
