The couple celebrated a milestone Anniversary last year, but when news of Sylvester Stallone and Jennifer Flavin’s split circulated, fans were left curious to know what led to their marriage of over two decades move towards end. It is reportedly said that Jennifer Flavin had to stay with the First Blood star for the sake of their children.

Sylvester Stallone and his wife Jennifer Flavin‘s married life was nothing less than an uphill battle. Despite the huge age gap between the couple, they had an incredibly long journey together but of course with a lot of issues. Stallone and Flavin were rumored to have filed a divorce amid their fight over their pet which was cleared by the Rocky star later.
There were numerous conflicts the couple dealt with. Flavin continued the marriage for a long time just for the well-being of their children even after the Escape Plan star neglected her. A Hollywood source shared insights into their relationship with People and said:
“It really wasn’t just one issue that made her file for divorce. They have had lots of issues for years and she just had enough.”
After dealing with a lot of disagreements and divorce rumors last year, the couple gave their marriage another try as Flavin wanted to keep the family together and according to People they were officially back and ready to work on their relationship again and meet back home to work out the differences. Stallone and Flavin share three daughters Sophia Stallone, Sistine Stallone, and Scarlet Stallone. The Bullet to the Head star also has a son with his ex-wife Sasha Czack.
Jennifer Flavin Filed For Divorce After 25 Years of Marriage
Sylvester Stallone and Jennifer Flavin were said to have finally parted ways in August after celebrating their 25th Anniversary last year. However, their divorce proceedings were dismissed as the duo gave it another try. The couple crossed paths in 1988 at a restaurant and since then they were in a relationship until they married in 1997. Jennifer Flavin and Sylvester Stallone went public with their relationship after a red-carpet event in 1990, and to date the duo has been on a rollercoaster ride.
Flavin celebrated her husband’s 77th birthday this year in July with a sweet tribute on her Instagram and captioned it with “Happy Birthday my love!!! You bring so much happiness, laughter, and love to our beautiful family!! Sylvester Stallone revealed to Hollywood Reporter that their divorce drama and issues will be addressed in their family show, The Family Stallone.
