“She knows how to perform to her best”: Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Get Analyzed By Body Language Expert, Reveals ‘Suits’ Star Might Be Putting Her Best Performance to Defame Royal Family in Netflix Documentary
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have taken up arms against the royal family, figuratively, with the release of the Netflix documentary about how their lives together have taken shape. The documentary, titled Harry & Meghan, was supposed to be something that had the royal family scared of its impact. But a body language expert has some startling facts to share about their activities in the documentary.
Prince Harry reveals he was panicking and freaking out before his first date with Meghan Markle
The documentary’s first episode saw the couple discuss their first date, a moment of great significance in their lives. They first met in 2016 on a date set up by mutual friends, and they had some interesting details to share about the day. Prince Harry said, “I was panicking, I was freaking out, I was sweating.”
But body language expert Darren Stanton had other things to say. Speaking on behalf of Betfair Casino, there were ‘tell-tale signs’ that indicated their ‘true emotions’ on camera. According to him, the duke of Sussex, while discussing the first date with the Suits star, showed signs of “nervousness” and “embarrassment.”
He is no actor after all.
Prince Harry felt a little embarrassed
In his analysis of the estranged prince’s body language, Stanton referred to a lot of signs that prove that he was not very comfortable speaking about this. He said, “Whilst speaking about their first date, Prince Harry started to go a little bit red, which is congruent with embarrassment. He then started to touch his face and nose — signals which are referred to as pacifying gestures.”
These gestures act as self-assurances that a person needs while talking about something that has the potential to upset them. The act of touching his face suggests that he is not comfortable with discussing his relationship and “has the urge to shy away from it.” He also said, “When we think about a memory the unconscious mind believes we are reliving it, so, therefore, evokes all of the emotion that the person felt in that memory.”
But the case was entirely different for Meghan Markle.
Meghan Markle seemed totally fine with the discussion
The Duchess of Sussex showed no signs of being uncomfortable while discussing her relationship with her husband. Her body language seemed to be that of one who was “the most confident.” Stanton said,
“In terms of body language in this particular clip, Harry comes across as jittery and quite nervous, however, Meghan is completely calm and controlled. Let’s not forget that she is very used to doing pieces on camera throughout her acting career. She knows how to perform to her best.”
She seemed to show no sign of being bothered while talking in this scene. Stanton pointed out, “In this particular clip, she is definitely the most confident person due to the fact that her body language conveys composure.”
The 41-year-old putting her best foot forward is no shock. After all, this is her chance to put the royals to shame.
