After the actress once made a confession about having a crush on him, the talk show host pulled a prank on her during an event, which made her jump.

Fallon also often attends events where he interacts with the celebrity guests who attend his show. In one such event, he met Nicole Kidman and her husband Keith Urban. In a podcast interview for 20 Questions on Deadline, Fallon recounted many highlights from his show.
One of these highlights was when he had a hilarious interaction with Keith Urban as he told him that they might have dated. This made Urban laugh, and then he came up with a brilliant prank to pull on his wife even though he had no idea of their long-forgotten dating history.

Fallon recounted how during a promotional interview, the actress reminded him about the time that they dated years ago and he was flabbergasted because he did not see that coming. Further, he reflected on how Urban convinced him to pull a prank on Kidman by holding her hand while she was talking to someone across the table, and in the meanwhile, the You Look Good in My Shirt singer would wave to her from the other side of the table.
“So I went in, I sat next to Nicole and I grabbed her hand and she held it like it was Keith’s probably, you know? And like she was kind of like rubbing it and she’s having this conversation. Then he went across the table to the person she was talking to and he’s like “Hi Nic.” And she’s like “What?!””
Kidman got mad at the talk show host as she started questioning his actions. Fallon pointed at Urban as he said that it was the singer’s idea.
