Jennifer Aniston had an embarrassing date with Jon Stewart

The Friends alum is popular for her successful Hollywood career. Even her personal life includes some famous names. Jennifer Aniston was married to Hollywood Hunk, Brad Pitt. They were together for five years. She later married actor Justin Theroux in 2015 but separated in 2017. 

Dating renowned celebrities, the actress once went on a date with Jon Stewart. Being an American sweetheart, Stewart tried to shoot his shot at the 54-year star. 

During her time on The Daily Show in 2010, the comedian remained Aniston about their “Date.” He went on to describe they shared a romantic Italian meal in New York City. It happened a decade ago, and while recollecting the evening, the 60-year-old said,

“I asked you out. And it was lovely. I remember you brought so many of your friends. And I remember thinking, ‘She’s so excited to be on a date with me, she wants me to get to know her posse.”

The Murder Mystery 2 star had a different memory of the romantic evening. She described it saying, “If I remember correctly, wasn’t it sort of like, ‘Hey, a group of us are going out, do you want to join?”

The American comedian tried his best to get together with the actress, but his attempts were in vain. He later went on to marry Tracey McShane in 2000.

Who is Jon Stewart?

Jon Stewart, the original name Jonathan Stuart Leibowitz, is an American American comedian, writer, and director. He is best known for hosting The Daily Show. In the ’90s, Stewart hosted The Jon Stewart Show, which aired on MTV before moving to syndication. He tried to date Aniston but failed in the process. Stewart later married Tracey McShane and they have been together for 15 years. 

In 2021 Stewart returned to television with the talk show The Problem with Jon Stewart. The biweekly series, which aired on Apple TV+, combined humor with in-depth explorations of social issues.
