The actor, who is known for sharing spoilers, talked about the show’s finale during an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and stated,

“You can expect from Volume Two, we’ve got some deaths coming, some gore, and a big–”

The actor did not elaborate on who is going to die, but his statement, coupled with his recent Instagram Story in which he is crying while wishing the fans a “Happy Stranger Things Finale,” has the fans worried. There has been huge speculation that Will Byers is going to die since he is the one who has suffered the most at the hands of the Upside Down’s villains.

There have also been theories about the death of fan-favourite characters Steve Harrington and Robin Buckley. The recent trailer of Volume 2 has further fueled these theories since it shows Robin saying, “I have this terrible feeling it might not work out us this time,” to Steve. It is possible that Noah Schnapp’s tears are for the death of the two fiercely loved characters. However, it is possible that the leader of the Hellfire Club, Eddie Munson, could die as well since there have been reports that his death was hinted at since season 1.
