Selena Gomez’s tale of battling lupus is an inspiration for her fans. Diagnosed with the autoimmune disease in 2014, she had to face the worrying symptoms head first. She fought the disease valiantly and in the end emerged on the other side, victorious.

The Wizards of Waverly Place alum has gone on to recount what she went through in those days in a recently released documentary. She has also thanked all the people who helped her tide over the bad time. But she missed out on one big name – Francia Raisa.

Selena Gomez opens up on her struggles in the documentary My Mind & Me

Selena Gomez detailed all she went through in that dark period of her life in her recently released documentary, My Mind & Me. The documentary, which was released on Apple TV, deals with the 30-year-old’s experiences during the time. The trauma she faced, and symptoms that just got worse with time, all of it were part and parcel of the documentary.

It is a given if you’re struggling this much, you will need at least one person to hang on to. One who will stick with you through thick and thin. For her, it was her longtime friend, Taylor Swift. The duo, who played the role of each other’s nemesis in the 2014 song Bad Blood, are real-life best friends.

In the documentary, the Wolves singer spoke at length about how she inter-mingles with people around her. While speaking to Rolling Stone magazine, she said, “I never fit in with a cool group of girls that were celebrities. My only friend in the industry really is Taylor (Swift).”

But these statements seem to have not gone down well with another celebrity in the industry. Who was one of her closest, if not best friends at a point time in her life? The person we’re referring to is Francia Raisa, the celebrity who donated her kidney to Gomez in a difficult transplant process in 2017.

Francia Raisa, donated her kidney to the Only Murders in The Building star, helping her when it mattered the most. It is shocking to see how the two have fallen out now. Calling the Karma singer her only friend in the Industry is a statement that made everyone wonder what went wrong between the two. Raisa herself would have been no different.

Is Francia Raisa just “someone she knows”?

Selena Gomez has trolled Francia Raisa

Francia Raisa must have felt shocked by The Same Old Love singer’s statement, cause she went on to unfollow Gomez on Instagram. She also posted a comment on an Instagram post, which shared Gomez’s message about Swift being her only best friend. She commented, “Interesting.”

Seems pretty clear how much she was left in shock. Even though the comment was deleted later, the people who had to see it had done their bit.

Selena Gomez was not one to let it go quietly. She posted a comment on TikTok, saying, “Sorry I didn’t mention every person I know,” clearly trolling Raisa.

The two were good friends till recently. They even shared a TikTok having fun with each other in July. Sometimes it’s hard to believe just how fast the night changes.
