“Speaking like Jennifer Aniston”: Blake Lively Compares Her Daughter To FRIENDS Star As She Stayed Away From The New Baby
One of the most brilliant and well-liked actors working today, Blake Lively is also recognized for having a sense of humor, which is on par with her husband, actor Ryan Reynolds. Fans appreciate the couple for their hilarious online banter and for constantly keeping their relationship amusing and real in front of the world.
The actress best known for playing Serena Vander Woodsen on Gossip Girl has made a name for herself as a successful actor, a wonderful parent, and now an entrepreneur. Lively and Reynolds have made it a priority to keep their children away from the paparazzi, but they do so while talking extremely highly about them.

During an appearance on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon back in 2020, Blake Lively was asked about how her two daughters; James and Inez were adjusting to their third daughter, now three-years-old Betty, to which she said that her middle daughter Inez who was three at the time was not much impressed with her new baby sister.
She shared,
“It’s been a bit of a tough adjustment in our house, but it’s good. I mean, I have two other daughters. My oldest is very into the baby but my middle child, eh, not so much. We’re thinking of keeping her.”
The actress went on to explain that Inez sorts of pretended to play with then newborn Betty. She explained that James, who was five years old at the time, was very maternal with Betty, but their second daughter kept away from her. But then Lively thought of making her understand what a younger sibling to her would be like.
“And then, I said to her, ‘You’re going to teach her everything she knows. You get to teach her about cities and the sky and flowers and Santa Claus and Mickey Mouse, anything you want!’ And she goes, ‘Aw, I didn’t love you but now I do.’”
To this, Lively compared her daughter to “Jennifer Aniston in Friends — just, like, this cute little thing.”
Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds quietly welcomed their fourth child
The couple quietly welcomed their fourth child in February 2023, who joins their daughters James, Inez, and Betty. However, the couple has not yet revealed the gender or the name of their fourth and youngest child they had but back in November. The actor said on the Today Show that he’d be okay if they had another girl.
“I know girls. So I’m kind of hoping for that. I come from all brothers, which is why I speak from experience. I love my well-being and I love my home. I was the youngest of four and we were just arsonists and firemen.”
Both Lively and Ryan Reynolds are great parents to their kids and Lively shared that her family is the most important thing to her, which is something she learned from her mother. She said,
“I grew up watching a woman be everything: be a mom and also be the hardest working business woman I knew. So it’s important for me for my kids to see that you don’t have to choose one or the other. I don’t need them to choose to be a businesswoman or a mom. They can be both or neither. But just for them to see that anything is possible. So it’s really important for me to do that.”

The actress, who is also a successful owner of the brand Betty Buzz, took to her social media to drop some thirst traps to promote her line of non-alcoholic mixers, Betty Buzz. She teased the campaign with a bikini shot while posing at the poolside in several pictures.
She captioned the picture, “Lemon Lime @bettybuzz your mom’s 90s visor edition.” Back in 2021, the actress shared why she decided to create a line of mixer in an interview, she said,
“I don’t drink. I know that’s odd coming from the wife of an infamous gin slinger. Over the past many years of mixing but not drinking cocktails, it has become clear that mixers are the unsung heroes of the drinking world and deserve just as much love as alcohol. We’ve spent the last three years crafting Betty Buzz and are so excited for people to finally taste it.”
The actress also added an alcoholic version of her mixers to her selection that is sold under the brand name Betty Booze. She shared a couple of pictures of her stories and wrote,
“This is not a capture of a wild mating ritual (though it could be). I legitimately chug Betty Buzz Meyer Lemon all day. Every day”.
She lastly added that she is the number one customer of the brand and swiftly pointed that they respect their customer’s privacy, so she won’t reveal that Ryan Reynolds is their number 2 customer.
