The initial reports surfaced the previous spring about Jake Gyllenhaal’s role as Mysterio in Spider-Man: Far From Home.

However, past released set photographs and trailers claim that he’s really the sequel’s “co-hero.”

Far From Home’s Mysterio

But with the first trailer, fans were satisfied to find that the adaptation of Mysterio will don the same look from the comics.

Designed by the late Steve Ditko, Mysterio has been characterized by his signature look: a purple cape affixed with eye-like fastens, and … a fishbowl of sorts.

It’s an outfit that a lot of producers may have shied far from, demanding it’s better left to the comics. But as the trailer affirms, Spider-Man: Far From Home grasps Ditko’s vision for the character.

Mysterio makes his excellent passage close as far as possible of the trailer, where his famous costume is seen. Undoubtedly, it’s refreshing, with a breastplate and gloves that includes texture and colour.

He does have the purple cape and green suit, and, when he takes off to fight the water creature, his fishbowl helmet shows up. It’s somewhat smaller than we’re acquainted with in the comics, but it’s there.

We don’t anticipate a marquee actor (like Gyllenhaal) to invest much energy in screen with his face darkened by a mask, or a fishbowl.

However, it’s pleasant to see that Marvel and Sony are putting forth fans something that seems like take from a comic book page.

While certain villains, as Zemo and Arnim Zola, were conditioned down for the films. But that doesn’t seem to be the situation for Mysterio, who rocks the look.

Moreover, he looks really close to his comic book avatar
