Tom Holland, hero of Spider-Man: No Way Home, recently highlighted how much pressure he felt on the Spider-Man: Homecoming press tour and the toll it had on his health. It was so intense that the actor burned out. In an interview with GQ, the actor confessed: “I was terribly unwell.” But I didn’t refuse. “I kept telling myself, ‘I can do it, I can do it, I can do it.'” Holland had to fly to 17 different countries for the tour, and when he arrived in China, his body gave out, forcing him to go offstage during a press conference and throw up. “I was under a lot of pressure to complete the day’s tasks.” That was the first time I said to myself, “No, I’m done now.” “I’ve given you everything,” he says.
What Spider-Man: No Way Home producer Amy Pascal had to say about Tom Holland:
Amy Pascal, the producer of Spider-Man: No Way Home, said of Holland, “There are very few actors working now who are as flexible as Tom is.” And he’s the hardest-working guy I know. ” Pascal revealed in the same interview that she wants to continue working on Spider-Man films with Holland. “I’ve talked to him about doing a hundred more.” “I’m never going to do Spider-Man movies without him,” she continued. “Are you serious?” Holland has stated that he will not be portraying Spider-Man for much longer. “Perhaps it’s time for me to move on,” he said in the interview. Perhaps a Miles Morales film would be better for Spider-Man. I have to consider Peter Parker as well, because he is a vital part of my existence… I’ve done something wrong if I’m still playing Spider-Man after I’m 30. Holland’s co-star in “No Way Home” mentioned that he may pursue other roles, such as James Bond.
