Mark Wahlberg called pal Kevin Hart after the comedian got wheelchair-bound after a friendly foot race with NFL star Stevan Ridley. The Uncharted star offered his co-star in the Netflix comedy movie Me Time some advice and kind words through a phone call. But this tough love from Wahlberg was different. Instead of a get well soon card or flowers as is the societal norm, Wahlberg sent Hart a bottle of tequila.

One of his well-wishers was Mark Wahlberg, who recounted his phone call with Hart while promoting his tequila brand. The Uncharted star shared that he suggested Hart not test his body in his forties.

“First of all, I told Kevin, ‘Stay in your lane.’ You know, he’s lying at home. He’s on the couch. His daughter just went to college too. My daughter’s in her second year of college.”

Wahlberg continued saying:

“I called him and I said, ‘Kevin, I feel bad for you. I understand a lot of people call you giving you s**t, excuse my language, but I’m not. I’m actually letting you know that I’m out there carrying the torch.’

The Shooter star added:

“So Kevin also has the tequila, and it’s called Flecha Azul. Kevin, we love you, baby.”

The comedian expresses his regrets for his actions in a humorous way. And his statements are an echo of exactly what Wahlberg claims to have advised him. Hart said:

“Ladies and gentlemen, the age 40 is real,” Hart said. “All my men, women out there 40 years old and above, it’s not a game. Respect that age. I tore my lower abdomen, my abductors are torn. I don’t know what that is but I tore them. I tore those too. I can’t walk.”

Hart has turned this tragedy of his into some sort of entertainment for his followers by adding comedic connotations to it as his fans wish him a speedy recovery.
