Netflix’s One Piece live action has taken the world of anime fans by a storm as every new interview or even the tiniest bit of information causes a commotion amidst the fans. Two weeks ago, in an interview with WIRED, the cast members answered the 50 most asked questions about the anime and manga on Google.

All the characters of the anime series One Piece have their own significant roles and yet the cast gave some really bizarre answers, some of which will crack up the fans. Iñaki Godoy, Emily Rudd, Mackenyu, Taz Skylar, and Jacob Romero are the cast members who appeared in the interview to answer the 50 questions. The interview which is available on the official YouTube account of WIRED.

One Piece Cast Answer What Their Characters Do on the Ship

From the silliest questions to the most serious ones, the One Piece cast members did their best to answer all the questions. One of these questions that Iñaki Godoy, who plays the character of Luffy, read was: “What do all the Straw Hat Pirates do on the ship?”

Then, Godoy went on to answer the question, saying: “Okay, so I think on a normal day in the Going Merry, Luffy, he steals food from the kitchen.” Actress Emily Rudd was very surprised by the answer as she thought that Godoy will be telling what his character’s duties are on the ship. She even called the answer “cute” after which Godoy said that Luffy is the captain of the ship, and he wakes up at 9:30 AM.

The other cast members then went on to say what their character does on the ship. Rudd said that her character Nami is the navigator of the ship, Mackenyu said that his character Zoro looks for the best spots on the ship to sleep or take a nap, Jacob Romero said that Ussop takes care of the ship and Taz Skylar said that he cooks for everyone on the ship. All of the actors seem to have a good grip on the characters they play as they were able to answer the question well.

The next question was asked by Jacob Romero and it was: “How does Monkey D. Luffy’s ability work?” Once again, Iñaki Godoy answered the question, saying that he is a rubber man by which he meant that he gains the ability to stretch his body like rubber after eating a fruit known as the Devil Fruit.

Furthermore, Godoy also let everyone what this Devil Fruit is. He said that his character Luffy once ate this fruit and there are different types of Devil Fruit. He went on to reveal that the one Luffy ate was a Gum-Gum fruit which enabled his body to stretch like rubber. However, the downside to this fruit is that consuming it makes the person who eats it unable to swim or sink in the sea.
