The recent death of Stephen tWitch Boss came as shock to everyone as it was completely unexpected. Boss was known for having a positive outlook on life. And not only that he also used to frequently post uplifting dance videos of himself with his wife and children. Therefore committing suicide was the last thing anyone would have expected of him.

Recently it has come to light that Boss had multiple upcoming projects on his plate. In other words, he had a busy year ahead of him. This has only added further confusion about his decision to take his life.

Although the assumption that Stephen tWitch Boss had been broke before he took his own life would make sense, however, reportedly that is not the case. Recently, after his death, a source shared with People that Boss had multiple projects lined up for him saying,

“multiple shows, brand deals and projects in pre-production for the upcoming year.”

And he had also been truly excited about all the projects and was very involved in them according to another insider. All in all, 2023 was shaping up to be very busy and full of activities for the Magic Mike XXL star. But despite the promising future, to everyone’s surprise, Boss committed suicide. According to his wife Allison Holker, the pro dancer had valued his family and friends the most. Additionally, in a 2017 podcast, he talked about living life despite hardships.

Friends and Family Mourn tWitch’s Death

Following the sudden death of Stephen tWitch Boss, his friends and family have shared their condolences and sadness. Boss’ wife Allison Holker expressed her sorrow in People magazine saying, “Stephen lit up every room he stepped into.” She also added that,

“I am certain there won’t be a day that goes by that we won’t honor his memory.”

Holker requested to give her family privacy during the sad hour when everyone was mourning Boss’ death. Ellen DeGeneres, who worked with the late dancer on The Ellen DeGeneres show, also expressed her sadness by writing a message on Instagram. The famous talk show host said that she was “heartbroken” after hearing Boss had passed away. She wrote, “He was my family, and I loved him with all my heart. I will miss him”. A day after his death was announced, the talk show shared an emotional montage video.

Other celebrities such as Jada Pinkett Smith, JoJo Siwa, and Jennifer Lopez also paid a tribute to the Magic Mike XXL star. Smith addressed Boss’ mental health saying,

“So many people suffer in silence. I wish he could have known that he didn’t have to.”

The pro dancer took his life on the 13th of December using a gun in a motel room. And according to motel staff, he had not appeared “visibly upset” in any way. Therefore no one could have ever suspected that anything was wrong. His dead body was discovered by motel employees the next day, after his death.
