Stephen tWitch Boss had a tragic and untimely demise in 2022, at the age of 40. The late producer was found in his hotel room with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to his head. A suicide note was found near him, although it is declared by his family that the specifics of the letter will not be revealed to the public. It is assumed that the extremity of his decision for committing suicide arose from alleged online pressure he faced after supporting Ellen DeGeneres.

The aftermath of his death is now being handled by his wife, Allison Holker, who was left penniless without a will and their three children to take care of. Two months after Stephen tWitch Boss’ death, his wife filed for control of his estate. Boss’ widow has pleaded to the California court to grant her half of his property, especially when he left without a will.

Stephen tWitch Boss rose to fame with MTV’s The Wade Robson Project, further, he was celebrated as the runner-up on Star Search. He later competed in a dance show and became the runner-up in 2008, further he returned to the show becoming its judge in 2022. Amid his struggles for the rise to fame, Boss got the opportunity of joining The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2014 as a DJ. He eventually became a permanent member of the show after being promoted to the position of co-executive producer in 2020.

Joining Ellen DeGeneres was a blessing as well as a boon for Boss. The show not only catapulted him to fame but also became the alleged reason for his demise. Boss tried supporting Ellen DeGeneres, who was facing online criticism for creating a negative work environment that promotes racism. Being associated with DeGeneres brought Boss the entire online pressure which allegedly resulted in his demise.

Boss’ death happening all of sudden left him with no time to prepare a will for his family. His death was a shock to not only his friends and family but also to his entire fanbase.

Allison Holker wants half of Stephen tWitch Boss’ property

Allison Holker and Stephen tWitch Boss tied the knot in 2013 to spend a happy married life together. The couple had two children, 6-year-old Maddox, and 3-year-old Zaia. Boss even adopted Holker’s 14-year-old daughter Weslie from her ex-relationship. After Boss’ demise, Holker has been trying to keep his memory alive for their children. A source shared with Entertainment Tonight, “Allison is making sure that all the kids know how much their daddy loves them, that he is still with them and his spirit is still flourishing”.

The dancer’s demise was a tragic one for the world and an unfortunate one for his family. Boss died without signing a will, and therefore the legal aftermath of his death came as a blow to Allison Holker. Boss’ wife was therefore left with no choice but file for California Spousal Property Petition in Los Angeles. Holker filed the petition and went forward to prove herself to be the wife of the deceased as per law. 

As per the court documents obtained by Entertainment Tonight, Holker requested half of Boss’ property. The mother of three stated that Boss “owned only personal effects of little value” prior to his full-time job at The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Allison Holker, therefore, requested half of “Stephen Boss Productions, Goldman Sachs investment account, as well as royalties from Cast and Crew Production Services”. Holker also demanded half of “Disney Worldwide Services, Inc.; GEP Talent Services, LLC; and SAG/AFTRA” as per court documents. 

Stephen tWitch Boss’ death left the world shaken to the core with his unfortunate and untimely demise. His influence was impactful and he shall be forever cherished for his talents and deeds.
