On 5 May 2023, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 was released on the big screens. All the superhero fans marched their way to the theatres to experience the adrenaline rush with the superheroes of the movie. It’s been more than 2 weeks since the release and the film is doing incredibly well at the box office.

James Gunn has successfully won people’s hearts as the movie has been receiving a massive amount of love and appreciation globally. The film has earned $651.1 million globally. Due to its growing fan base and great reviews, people are considering it a must-watch movie. During the weekends, on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday the movie captured $62 million in ticket sales. Although the movie has earned $659.1 million globally they are still $100 million to make a good profit out of this movie.

Guardians of the Galaxy reportedly earned $773.3 million which was released in 2014. In 2017 the sequel of the film came out Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and the movie hit the mark of $863.6 million at the box office. Fans are trying to speculate if Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will be able to cross the mark of the previous movie’s earnings.

James Gunn said he works hard to not have deleted scenes in the movies
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 has done justice to the previous Guardians of the Galaxy movies as well. The storyline is being appreciated and people are talking about it online. As Gunn is the mastermind behind so many superhero films he was asked about the scenes he chose to make sure the film looks perfect. While talking about if the movie has any deleted scenes, the director of the movie said,
“The thing for me is, I work hard to not have deleted scenes. This movie probably has the fewest deleted scenes because it was pretty tight. I worked on this screenplay, for a lot of reasons, way longer than I worked on the other screenplays.
He further added,
“The screenplay took me way longer to write than both the first two movies, so, it was pretty worked out by the time we got to soundstage.”
The movie is still running strong at the box office. Reportedly the movie can surpass the earning mark of the previous two movies. The cast and the makers are thrilled and grateful for the response they have been receiving after the release. The cast of the movie includes Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Adam Warlock, Karen Gillan, Sean Gunn, and the megastar Vin Diesel.
