It had undoubtedly been a long time since the release of the 5th season of Black Mirror. Since then, fans of the Netflix hit show were left with the question of when the show would return with a new season. And after around four years of gap, the announcement finally arrived recently. As reported by The Sun, fans will get to watch their favorite dystopian series once again. Fans expressed their huge excitement after the show’s Twitter account tweeted,

“what have we missed?”

and immediately it received responses from several fans. One tweeted,

 

No wonder the announcement has been one of the best for the fans this year after a 4-year hiatus. Furthermore, the show’s creator Charlie Brooker also left an emoji comment underneath the tweet. Additionally, last year it was reported by Variety that the upcoming season will include more episodes than season 5.

The season had the lowest number of total episodes and therefore understandably fans were left disappointed. However, now there is a big guarantee that there will be more content for Black Mirror fans in the new upcoming season.

Season 5 had big celebrity cast members such as Miley Cyrus, Anthony Mackie, etc. As per Variety, the new season will reportedly have Zazie Beetz, Paapa Essediu,  Aaron Paul, Danny Ramirez, etc as the cast members.
