Duffer Brothers, the makers of Netflix’s massive hit Stanger Things, shared something that will excite you like never before. Initially planned as a movie, Stanger Things became sensational on Netflix with currently three seasons and the final and fifth on its way.
The makers have promised that the last season will include significant elements from season one which will likely connect the beginning and the end in the best way possible. So, with the Duffer Brothers’ words, it feels like Stanger Things season 5 will be nothing less than a virtual treat for the fans.
Duffer Brothers Shares Update on Stranger Things Season 5
While talking about the upcoming highly anticipated season 5 of Stanger Things which will also serve as the end of the most popular Netflix series, the Duffer Brothers, Matt and Ross recently revealed in an interview with The Guardian that the dynamics from season one will appear in the finale as fans have been expecting something extraordinary for the ending.
Though the makers did not reveal the entire plot, of course, to keep the anticipation growing, they did mention that:
“This season – it’s like season one on steroids,” says Matt. “It’s the biggest it’s ever been in terms of scale, but it has been really fun, because everyone’s back together in Hawkins: the boys and Eleven interacting more in line with how it was in season one. And, yes, there may be spin-offs, but the story of Eleven and Dustin and Lucas and Hopper, their stories are done here. That’s it…”
No one including the Duffer Brothers, expected Stanger Things season 1 to become a cultural phenomenon, set in the ’80s and followed by an incredible group of teens who uncover a government conspiracy in their beloved town Hawkins. And now that the makes have shared that the end is like “season one on steroids” we expect nothing but another cultural phenomenon.
When Will Stranger Things 5 Begin Its Production
Another noteworthy detail that fans were eagerly waiting for is when will Duffer Brothers will begin the production of the last season. Currently, the production of Stranger Things 5 is set to begin in next year’s early January after suffering delays due to the Hollywood strikes. So, to make sure that fans experience friendship, betrayal, and super-powered beings like the formidable Vecna, the conclusion is set for an extraordinary thrill.
According to Variety, the Duffer Brothers previously did not reveal how much work they have compiled for Stanger Things 5 but did mention that they’ve started searching for the best suitable filming locations. Ross Duffer added:
“And when you’re doing that, everything is changing constantly, it’s a constantly evolving monster, so it’s hard for me to remember exactly where we were. It’s just that we weren’t ready to start shooting with a locked script.”
For the cast of the final season, all major actors including Millie Bobby Brown, Noah Schnapp, Finn Wolfhard, Sadie Sink, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, and other significant actors are expected to return to conclude the story and end Vecna’s dreadful acts.
