Finn Wolfhard shared some of the details about the upcoming and final season of the Duffer brothers’ hit series, Stranger Things. While he has shared that he has read some of the scripts about the last season but the ending and final destination of the other characters are unknown to him as well. Stranger Things has a talented star cast that includes Millie Bobby Brown, Winona Ryder, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Joe Keery, David Harbour, Caleb McLaughlin, and Gaten Matarazzo.

The first season of the series was released in July 2016 and the second, third, and fourth seasons followed in October 2017, July 2019, and May and July 2022, respectively. In February 2022 the series was renewed for the fifth and final season.

All About Finn Wolfhard Starrer Stranger Things

The series Stranger Things was created by the brothers – Matt and Ross Duffer. The show is set in 1980 on Long Island and was originally called Montauk but then the location was changed as it would have been difficult to shoot there in winter. Stranger Things drew its inspiration from the Montauk project because there was an alleged government experiment during the early 80s that involved kidnapping kids from Long Island to experiment on them.

The real name for Upside Down in the series is Nether but the cast got used to using Upside Down on the set and it continued so. Now 4 seasons have been released and the fans have showered immense love on the series and its characters. The fifth and final season is in the making and has piqued everyone’s curiosity regarding the ending of the series.

Finn Wolfhard Talks About Stranger Things Season 5

During his recent interview when Wolfhard was asked to spill some beans about the final season of Stranger Things, he said that he knows that fans are super-excited for the fifth and final season. He then said that the team wants to focus back on the roots, why the show was special, and that it is going to be an exciting journey. He shared that the cast is all eager to go back on the sets and start the shooting. Wolfhard guessed that it might be sad to see the ending but like all other fans, he is also equally eager to see the ending. The actor said he has read just the first three parts of the script and is curious to find out the journey of all the other characters.

Duffer brothers made the following tweet regarding the halt,

“Duffers here. Writing does not stop when filming begins. While we’re excited to start production with our amazing cast and crew, it is not possible during this strike, We hope a fair deal is reached soon so we can all get back to work. Until then — over and out. #wgastrong”

Netflix was already on its toes to begin the filming of Stranger Things season 5 but was compelled to halt the series due to the ongoing writer’s strike.
