The sequel to The Expendables 3 will be Stallone’s last appearance in the franchise. Scott Waugh, a professional stunt actor turned director, is behind the camera for The Expendables 4

The first trailer of the upcoming film saw the return of The Italian Stallion with Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, and Randy Couture. After The Expendables 3 underwhelmed at the box office in 2014, the filmmaker decided to postpone the sequel until 2021, when he announced intentions to shoot a fourth movie.

A bunch of mercenaries will undoubtedly be the focus of the fourth film as they go on a high-octane action quest to redeem some wrongs. And although the past films centered on Stallone’s role, it’s been said that the plot may alter this time and would likely center on the other important characters.
