Taika Waititi Finally Reveals Rita Ora Wedding Photos after Escaping Marvel Following Thor 4 Backlash
On the occasion of their first wedding anniversary, Taika Waititi has come out to share his wedding details with Rita Ora. After escaping Marvel following Thor 4 backlash, Waititi is once again in the news as he shares his unseen wedding pictures with Vogue.

In an interview with Vogue Magazine, Taika Waititi and Rita Ora revealed details about their intimate wedding which took place last year. On the occasion of their first anniversary, the Thor director and his lady charm recalled the untraditional proposal and wedding planning process.
After meeting at a party at Waititi’s house in 2018, the couple did not date for a few years. Although last summer both Taika Waititi and Rita Ora got engaged while on a vacation in Plam Springs. The couple also revealed that Ora was the one to propose to Waititi. Talking about it, Waititi said, “She proposed to me, and I said yes instantly.”
The couple also revealed where they got married. Last summer rumors about their wedding were at their peak and all kinds of speculations regarding the wedding and venue were made across the internet. Although while talking with Vogue the couple confirmed that they tied the knot at their Los Angeles home only a few weeks later their engagement. They also said that they found all the rumors and updates very entertaining.
“It wasn’t in London or in France like everyone reported. It was in L.A. with a small group of friends,” Taika said, to which Rita added, “At our home!”
“It’s actually been quite entertaining for us to see the different stories people made up and all the while getting to keep it to ourselves,” Rita said. “And, I love that we now get to share what really happened — and to do it on our one-year anniversary, no less!”

Apart from this the couple also shared how unplanned their wedding was. Rita Orea said that as they had planned nothing, she was not sure if she was even going to find the right dress for herself. Although Orea said she wore her mum’s pearls along with a dress from Tom Ford who is ultimately her favorite designer.
While talking about the wedding the couple also decided to share their unseen wedding pictures from their intimate ceremony.
Why did Taika Waititi walk out of Thor 5?
After the disappointment of Thor: Love & Thunder at the box office director Taika Waititi is reportedly no longer going to director Thor 5. As per the reports Waititi has decided to not direct Thor 5. As per the sources, Taika Waititi doesn’t feel he can pull out some good trick for Thor 5.
Despite the failure of Thor 4 at the box office and the exit of Taika Waititi from the movie, Marvel Studios have still shown confidence in Thor 5. Even though there is no such official announcement on the release date of the movie it is accepted to be out in early 2027.
