Not much information is available about Marvel’s black widow, in which Scarlett Johansson is the lead. She is a fan favourite secret agent and super spy and is soon to get her own solo movie.

Although there have been many lead images and videos from the set, they are no confirmations from the studio. The studio has not even given confirmation on the movie’s production. The only thing that can be said as of now, is that Johannson will recreate her character as Natasha Romanoff. Rumours are surfacing that there can be a second Black Widow as well.

Taskmaster to be the Villain?

Recent images from the sets showed another important character. The character might become the main villain for the movie. In the images, a person in body armour is seen moving in the city.

This resembles the classic comic book antagonist “Taskmaster” from the MCU.

Who is Taskmaster?

Taskmaster made his debut in the 1980 Avengers #195, written by David Michelinie and George Pérez. He came out as a formidable opponent for the Avengers. He has “photographic reflexes” and can copy any movements and moves he sees. This made him a skilled mercenary, aim like Hawkeye and fight like Captain America.

Tinkmaster does not hate the Avengers. At certain occasions, he even worked with them for a price. He even served in Avengers: The Initiative as an instructor.

Taskmaster was in S.H.I.E.L.D

The antagonist has gained popularity in the past twenty years. In that time, he has been seen in two comic book miniseries. In one of those series, he was shown to be a former member of S.H.I.E.L.D. His name was Tony Masters, and he got his powers using a serum which destroyed his memory. He has amnesia and the only thing he remembers is his time as Taskmaster.
