Previously, in 2014, when Taylor Swift accepted her second Billboard Women Of The Year award, she made a speech about how the future winner might be “sitting in a piano lesson or in a girls’ choir.” In her 2019 speech, she went on to allude to Billie Eilish and say (via. “At that exact moment, an 11-year-old girl in California really was taking piano lessons and really was in a girls’ choir; and this year she has been named Woman Of The Year at the age of 17.”

Billie Eilish then, in turn, talked about how she really was in a girls’ choir doing piano lessons and she watched Swift’s speech that night.
“I was like 11 at the time. I was in a choir and I was learning to play piano and you [Taylor Swift] took care of me.”
This is a truly inspirational moment, as both artists started off fairly young in their careers. Swift was only 14 when she started her professional songwriting journey, whereas Eilish was 13 years old when she started her journey with her brother Finneas. Last year, in December, the rumor mill went crazy, thinking a proposal was coming on the day of Swift’s birthday. However, the sources suggested they deliberately avoided a winter proposal because “they don’t want it to seem like it’s rushed insanity.”

A source close to Kelce said that Kelce has already asked for Swift’s father’s permission and is looking for a ring now.
