Netflix first announced the film in May this year, and Sandler recently appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where he talked about the movie and revealed that there will be a guest appearance by Travis Kelce.

Kelce has signed with Lionsgate for their upcoming buddy cop movie Loose Canons, which will potentially be the big break for him in the movie industry as he will play one of the leads. The story of the movie will also be different than most of the action-drama buddy-cop movies.

A typical buddy-cop movie usually has a wild and a strict cop. But Loose Cannons will break that stereotype, as both cops will be equally wild in this case. Kelce will be one of them, and he will be forced to team up with an equally crazy partner.

The script is written by Tim Dowling, while Chad Stahelski will be directing it. As reported by The Hollywood Reporter the film will take some inspiration from other popular buddy-cop movies like Lethal Weapon, Bad Boys and Rush Hour.
